NHA Design studio follows a thoughtful design process that leans heavily on careful design time and extensive planning. It is important that the installation of our landscapes and hardscapes are very well done and completed quickly. We achieve this in the design and planning stages of each project. We apply our method of design to projects large and small.
In a nut shell, this is the method that we apply to each of our projects:
Initial visit- Identify your 'use of space' requirements and needs. Develop an aesthetic common ground. Begin to understand your scope and budget for project. Analyze project site, looking for inherent advantages and established challenges.
Preliminary mood board- Our first step, is to do some specific research for reference images. These images are used to develop a preliminary mood board that is used as a stepping stone for discussion with you.
Project Awards- Mood board is refined and further developed. Preliminary project budget and time line is outlined and approved by client.
Site visit: NHA Design team re-visits your residence to take measurements, photographs, and soil samples.
Design phase: Site plans and preliminary designs are drawn. Research, shopping, and resourcing specific elements. Delivery of revised mood board which contains specifics- drawings and plant lists. Revised budget and time line.
Design revision: Revise designs per your notes and project's budget. Submit revised project designs and detailed budget for your approval.
Planning: Place orders for all services, materials and plant matter. Coordinate installation of crew and other contractors.
Installation: NHA Design team closely monitors contractors and installation crew to insure that project installation adheres to design and budget.
Follow up: Identify any client concerns and resolve. Coordinate with landscape maintenance crew to insure landscape system is understood.
